Daylight Savings Ends. The Cherry Creek School District wants to honor the heroes inside and outside our schools. Pearson, a national publisher of print and digital textbooks, recently experienced a data breach affecting more than 13, schools and universities. The district does not currently use AIMSweb 1. Cherry Creek School was notified that just over 1, current and former students were impacted by the breach. The student data involved was limited to first and last name, and date of birth. Pearson does not believe the data has been misused.
Currently, the District is working to notify individuals directly impacted by the breach by mail. Please know that Cherry Creek Schools is in compliance with the Colorado Student Data Privacy and Transparency Act, and obtains data protection agreements with contracted providers to protect student data.
